Miracles DO Happen!

(3-2-22) If you need your faith strengthened to believe for a miracle, this testimony will do just that.

Wednesday, I received a call from a church member, asking me to pray for her mom, Mary, because she had taken a horrible fall down 15 wooden stairs to the concrete basement floor. We had the church immediately bombard heaven. When I arrived at the hospital, the news became bleaker, and bleaker. BUT, God!!

In transport to the hospital, Mary stopped breathing, twice, so they intubated her to help her breathe, and took scans. Mary had a brain bleed that caused such extreme bleeding, it actually shifted her brain to one side, and pushed it down into the brain stem. The Doctors said the damage was so severe, she could not survive it.

The family made the decision after consulting with another neurologist, to remove her breathing tube. They were told she may only last minutes. The family gathered around her, prayed, worshipped the Lord, and waited. At 7:30am, I received a text from her daughter, with this report.

“Mom is trying to talk!!! She was very parched from no water, so we asked the nurse to swab her mouth. While doing this, Mom opened her eyes and talked to the nurse. The nurse immediately called doctors, new testing was done, and the hospital staff was abuzz with this event happening before their eyes. Mom was sent down for more scans, and NO blood was found, because it had all miraculously been absorbed, and the brain was already shifting back into proper position (they were told this can’t happen!)

Mary was now speaking in full sentences, and fully recognizing everyone. She remembers what happened. The Doctors can’t explain it, and can’t take credit for it, because they did nothing but keep her breathing so family could say goodbye.

Mary continues to surpass everything they said she wouldn’t be able to do. She hasn’t even started her therapy yet, and she’s already able to do many things for herself, like feeding, etc. So NEVER stop praying and believing! We serve The GREAT PHYSICIAN!! JESUS!!! Let’s give THANKS, and declare the GREATNESS of our God!

Drinking of the Water of Life

(2-20-22) It’s time to drink of the living water that flows from the throne of God.

It’s time to shake off the dust of everything that comes against us.

It’s time to shatter the strongholds of the enemy to break the chains and extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy.

It’s time for victory in the Lord.

It’s time to triumph over every weapon formed against us, every that can defile, discourage and destroy.

The Lord tells us in the Word, “The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have Life and have life, and have it more abundantly.”

The water from the throne of God brings us life in the name of Jesus. But it does us no good unless we drink of the water of God. We need to drink deeply of His Living Water, for only in drinking can we be refreshed.

For His water brings life to our soul, washes away the dust of the world, and breaks the power of darkness that comes against us.

We need to spend time in the Lord’s presence every day, allowing Him to fill us with Life, and equip us with the weapons of our warfare, so we can go to battle, and win in the name of the Lord.

It’s time to rise up church.

It’s time to take kingdom authority over the weapons of the enemy’s warfare in the name of Jesus. Let’s believe God for victory today, and move out by faith to defeat the enemy in the name of Jesus. Let’s get dust free in the name of Jesus. And let’s get refreshed in the water of the Holy Ghost.

Remember, greater is He that is within you than he that is in the world. The Bible tells us that Satan is LIKE a roaring lion, but Jesus IS the lion of the tribe of Judah. He’s the real deal … and the only real thing. And best of all, He has ALL power over all the forces of darkness, and not only that, but He gives us power over all the powers of hell.

It’s time we take our stand in Him, and win in Jesus’ name. We will conquer we when drink deep of His presence, and stand firm in faith in him. Today can be your new day; your day of victory in Him – its time to drink deep, and be refreshed, and victorious in Him!

The Power of God's Word

(2-14-22) We know the Word of God (Bible) is “sharp and powerful,” “a Lamp unto our feet and a Light unto our path,” it builds strong, eternal foundations for us to walk in, and guides our steps safely throughout life – including every dark and dangerous valley filled with unknown trouble.

You need to get this truth into your heart today: We can stand upon the Word of God, build our lives successfully upon it, and trust God’s Word to lead us safely through every stage of life, for nothing is more powerful than His Word.

When I was diagnosed with a deadly lung disease, and battling severe asthma, the Lord challenged me to stand by faith upon HIS Word, and to declare His Word over my life every day, while intentionally making a habitation for His presence. As I proclaimed His Word over my body, I could actually feel the Living, anointed, all-powerful Word of God bringing miraculous healing to me. It all culminated late one night, when I was having a severe asthma attack.

As I felt myself passing out on the couch, the last words I uttered were, “Jesus, save me!” I was awakened by an angel of the Lord placing his hand on my leg, and loudly declaring, “In the name of Jesus, I command you to live!” Immediately, I felt a jolt of God’s anointing power go through me.

The angel repeated his command a second time, and another surge of God’s presence went through me. In that moment, I knew the all-powerful, anointed Word of God, that the angel had been sent to deliver to me, had completely healed me. I went to my normal doctor’s appointment that week, and he was absolutely astounded by it. But for some reason, he looked gravely serious when I told him the story.

When I had finished, he said, “You should have been dead. It had to be a miracle, because people don’t survive asthma attacks like that.” Then he explained why he looked so sternly at me. His wife served as a PA in another office, and the day before, a 19 year old girl died when she had an asthma attack like that. And that was with medical help right there. If it wasn’t for the anointed, declared, all-powerful Word of God, delivered to me by the angel, I would not be here today, so never underestimate the power of the Word of God.

Throughout my lifetime, I have learned to stand upon the surety of God’s Word in my life, and you can too – even in seasons like this. If God said it, you can stand upon it. Believe His Word, and don’t doubt, and He will see you through.

How Are YOUR Foundations?

(2-8-22) Foundations matter. Whether it’s in a skyscraper, a shopping mall, or a simple home, your building will not last long without strong foundations. The same truth applies to our spiritual lives; they must be based upon rock-solid foundations in Christ Jesus, or our lives will not withstand the storms and gales of life.

We know that Jesus Christ is the only sure foundation that we can build our lives upon. No other foundation will do. Christ alone provides the solid bedrock we need to successfully construct a life, a marriage and a home that will save us from sin, and endure the test of time. To build a strong and sure foundation in the Lord, you must start by confessing your sinful ways to the Lord (if you haven’t received Christ as your Lord yet), asking Him to become your Savior. Then, it is imperative to give yourself to build an enduring relationship with Him, by spending tie getting to know Him in prayer, and reading His Word (Bible).

As you spend time with Him, getting to know Him, and learning His ways, His foundation will become strong in you, and the storms of life will not topple your faith, because you are grounded securely in Him. In these days, when the hell is waging war against us, and the storms of darkness are blowing across the land, you need to build stronger foundations in the Lord, than at any other time. You need to secure your foundations now, and strengthen them in the days ahead. If you will, then you will stand the test of time, and your outcome will be victorious! But you must build now … don’t delay!

The Importance of Gratitude

(1-31-22) For many, the past few years have not been the best years ever, especially for those who’ve experienced pain and loss from the pandemic. But I hope you are able to look beyond your heartache and struggles, and return thanks to the Lord for the many blessings He has given to you throughout this difficult season!

I understand it goes against everything in our nature to give thanks during such a difficult time, but I pray the Lord will open your eyes to see His multiplied blessings, in spite of everything we have faced, and that we will turn our grateful hearts to Him, to give Him glory in the middle of it all!

As you recall, only one leper out of ten returned thanks to the Lord for His amazing blessing in their lives. But today, I pray we will be THAT person who does the same. No matter how difficult this season of life has been, I pray we will still find many reasons to thank the Lord for what He has done for us – and that we will bow our hearts low, and lift our voices high, to praise Him for them all!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Psalm 34:1 – “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Don't Overlook the Small Things ...

(1-24-22) If you’ve ever shopped for a new phone, computer or tablet, you know electronic devices come in all kinds of sizes and configurations. There is clearly no standard for any of them. Worse yet, everyone wants to up-sell you on every device, because according to sales reps, “bigger is always better.” But is it really?

One day last fall, I was out raking leaves from our parking area, and the thought hit me, “A few tiny leaves don’t make for much work, but a tree full sure will.” Of course, this timely ‘revelation’ came to me after I already had moved several wheelbarrows full of leaves from the parking lot, and was forced to wait several hours to finish the job because I needed the soggy leaves on the bottom layer to dry out to blow the rest of them away. Though the leaves from that particular tree are very small, if enough of them fall at the same time, they really add up to a workout removing them. In the same way, we never seem to become overly concerned about a little bad attitude now and then, or a few wrong words spoken in anger toward someone we love. But we should be very concerned about our actions, because when little things compile they do irreparable damage to our relationships with others, and to the Lord.

What’s the cure? Don’t let “The little foxes spoil the vine” ruin your life, or forever harm your relationships with others. If you see an issue – fix it. Don’t allow the sun to go down on your wrath, because it will soon take root and destroy more than you can afford to lose.
