Fear is everywhere today. You see it creeping through the shadows of our streets, sneaking it’s way into our homes, and attempting to infiltrate our lives. Fear is a wicked enemy that silently, but effectively paralyzes its victims without mercy, and robs once-strong men and women of everything worthwhile in life. The Bible makes it clear; “fear is torment.” And I assure you, it does not come from the Lord. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and we can trust Him with our life. In fact, a vitally important part of Jesus’ redemptive mission was to destroy the power of fear, and make His life-transforming peace available to all who would yield their life to Him.

During this season, we can be a powerful witness for the Lord – as we walk in faith, and conquer fear through the power of His name. Trust me, people will see the difference in you, and will desire to obtain this blessing of the Lord for themselves, because few will be walking as you do. What we do now matters greatly. People need to see Christ in us the hope of glory, they need to discover in real-time the power of God that overcomes the world. we need to let our light shine before our friends, co-workers, and strangers, so they can see His power at work in us. We need to pray for friends and family, and introduce them to the Lord, help them discover Jesus as their source of salvation and peace. And whatever you do – stand on His Word and don’t be overcome by fear.

Let me leave with a few powerful scriptures that reveal the truth – that the Lord has given us all the power we need to overcome fear, and not to be ruled by it. Today can be your brand new day – a day of victory over fear, and the beginning of a whole new chapter of walking in the kind of peace you never dreamed about before. And best of all, it starts with a simple prayer of submission to the Lord – let Him come into your heart, and start changing things for the better. As you do so, you will be amazed at what the Spirit of the Living God will accomplish in your life, and how He will make you a bright light of hope to others. Receive Him today, and let His great work start in you right now!

Isaiah 43:1-3, “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Psalm 91:10-12, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Bottom line: We CAN trust the Lord every step of our journey. His covenant promises are sure. During every season, we can walk by faith in Him, knowing that He will always be there for us. So just talk to Him now. And let His peace flood your soul.
