You CAN experience the peace of God in your life today! While there is much unrest, uncertainty and even fear in our world today, and it is impacting everyone (especially children), Jesus assures us in John 14:27, that He would give us His incredible, amazing peace (that passes human comprehension) – to transcend every situation. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Life is anything but easy for most people right now, thanks to our world being turned upside down by a pandemic, social isolation, the loss of jobs, global uncertainty, and fears about tomorrow. Our generation has never faced anything like this, and it’s tough to walk through. Parent’s worries about the impact all this will have on their children are real, relationships are being strained, domestic issues are on the rise, society seems to be separating at the seams, and most people don’t know where to turn for help?
There is an answer to each of the complex issues we are facing right now – you just need to know where to look. King Solomon once addressed this issue in his own life, and came to the conclusion that nothing in the world itself will resolve the crisis’ of life, or provide the real-time solution to similar situations as ours – not wealth, not friends, and not pleasure. Nothing on earth could be counted on to solves any of the issues we go through – only God can do that in us, through us, and for us. His final analysis should be the same as ours: everything from an earthly perspective is meaningless, hopeless, and nothing more than a vain attempt to do for ourselves what only God is capable of doing for us.
No matter what we are facing today, I encourage you to turn to Jesus, call on His name, cast your cares, worries and concerns on Him right now – and let Him fill your life, and the lives of your children, with His transforming peace.
He has all things in control. Remember that. You CAN trust Him with everything in your life. Come to Him now – He’s waiting for you!
